Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson. This is my favorite of this series. I actually know it by heart. This kid was me. The teacher asks, "Calvin, can you tell us what Lewis and Clark did?" Calvin responds proudly, "No, but I can recite the secret superhero origin of each member of Captain Napalm's Thermonuclear League of Liberty." The teacher just says, "See me after class, Calvin." Calvin mopes, "I'm not dumb. I just have a command of thoroughly useless information." This is yellowed from keeping it pinned up for the last 10 years.
